Alright now that the dust has settled and I have patched up all the holes in my wall from this torturous Packers season...it's time to talk about how Rodgers took us on a fucking ride and why I think it's time to hop on the Love Boat..
1. If you have 2 eyes and a brain, it's not that far of a stretch to look at how Aaron and Cobb walked off the field after that loss to Detroit and think that they are both done. Whether Rodgers retires or not, that was his last game in Green Bay. He essentially said goodbye to the media, staff, fans, players...it looked clear to me he was done with us. #RIP
2. A lot of quotes coming out today from Gutey saying they committed to him for more than just 1 year and expect him to be back.."We made a really big commitment to him last offseason, so I think as we did that it wasn't certainly for just this year," Gutekunst said of the recently completed 2022 season. "He's going to take his time, and the communication will be pretty constant as we move forward."
OPEN YOUR EYES BRIAN - Yea just like he gave you plenty of notice last year right?? Aaron doesn't give a shit about another 60 Mill. He'll wake up retired or not and get paid Millions for whatever he decides to do next. Whether it's playing for the Raiders with his buddy Adams, hosting Jepordy like a nerd, do media, or knitting blankets for the elderly in Wisconsin...don't matter, guys #rich. #SundayConversations
3. Love is good. And I know theres not a big sample size but we've seen it elsewhere in the NFL. Seattle, 49ers, Miami, Philly...if you have a decent young QB, that is fairly mobile, and a solid coach with a good offensive mind, which Lafluer is...theres no reason Jordan can't flourish in this offense. If Love is under center there's no debating on play calls liek with Rodgers. Love will run whatever Lafluer says. Which will be run and play-action heavy. Jones, Dillion, Deguara, Tonyan, Watson...Lafluer is attempting to build a niners-like offense. With Love he can do it.
After the year Rodgers had, injuries or not, you can't convince me Love couldn't lead that team to an 8-9 record. Also just the pure fact that he's been sitting behind Rodgers for 4 years now. We all know what happen the last time Packers did this...Oh that's right, produced another Hall of Famer.
4. If Packers move on to Love, we can finally be done with all this drama bullshit every offseason, every week. I mean I love Aaron and i'll never forget streaking through SUNY Albany's campus when they won the Superbowl, #GoDanes, but it's just got to the point where I kind of can't stand him.
5. So I named my dog after Jordy Nelson. Best WR of all-time. Here's some clips actually that we can all just take our pants off too and go to town...seriously make sure the tissues are close...love you Jordy.
But yea if Jordan Love blows up my dogs name sake can stay alive!
ALright Packers Nation until next time..cheers!
