Its me, Dr Data and I am back from my Miami excursion that involves late nights/mornings at Space and seeing DJ Diesel (aka Shaq ever heard of him) dj at Elleven. Now I ve been absolutely cooking with College hoops picks recently, brag, but now its time to turn to my bread and butter.....the beautiful game. Tuesday afternoon offers up a double header that marks the return of the Champions League knockout Stages. Now I got analysis and got picks so lets dive into this ma:
Match 1: PSG vs Bayern Over 3.5 +130
History tells us that its never a good sign when the top powers from France and Germany meet but i can honestly say this contradicts that assumption. PSG and Bayern are powerhouses of European football with star studded lineups that makes Christopher Nolan movie casts look like a double A ball club. We Got Neymar, Kimmich, Mbappe, Musiala Messi and Koman. Just few names where the combined net worth equals the total GDP of Tahiti. The big news for this game is Mbappe will be healthy for the first leg which is massive. The front three of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe is just stupid. However, the attacking of Bayern is sneaky underrated in the scope of European football with the like of Lereoy Sane, Kinglsey Koman, Choupa Moting and Josh Kimmich. Both these squads have fire power that will look to get out front early in this first leg. I fully expect goals to be scored in bunches
Match 2: AC Milan vs Spurs Olivier Giroud anytime goal scorer +210
Spurs might be entering this game in better form than Milan, despite their recent 4-1 thumping to Leicester over the weekend. AC Milan have only managed to win two matches since the World Cup restart. The speed and skill of Kane, Son and Kulussevksi will be a lot to handle for the Italian back-line which is most likely a back three. However, Milan have been playing better with this back-line formation, so this means a clogged midfield. I anticipate a lot of Milan long balls and crosses to test the spurs back line. Milan has the best aerial attacker in the world in Olivier Giroud, and i think nets at least one. 2-1 Milan.
