The All-NBA “Aliens Took My Talent” Team

I’m sitting here watching the Nets, who are not good, clobber the Knicks who apparently are worse; and something hit me. There are a few NBA players that have seemingly lost their talents to the Space Jam Aliens. And I’m not talking, the remake Space Jam, I’m talking the OG version from 1996 with Michael Jeffery Jordan.

Let’s put the squad together of players who either took a big step backwards or down right lost their talents!

In the backcourt, let’s go with. Former number 1 overall pick, who for some reason (that was never explained) forgot how to shoot a basketball, Mark Fultz.

At the other guard, one my favorites for years, Russell Westbrook. Russ was never a shooter or took care of the ball, but these last couple years have been brutal to watch. It’s like he can’t dribble or make a damn layup now. Who put butter on the ball?!

At forwards, I’m putting two former number one picks here. These guys are practically cousins through Kendall Jenner, Ben Simmons and Blake Griffin. It was pretty cool to see them on the Nets together as well. Ben honestly inspired this blog. The guy has the “yips” and doesn’t even look at the basketball let alone shoot the ball. Blake fall from grace is easier to explain. Injuries really caught up to him but something strange happened with his stint in Detroit. He literally stopped dunking. No lie, check the stats!

And at center, sadly, we are putting Dwight Howard here. Dwight is up there in age and it sucks to see him take his talents overseas. Wait what? Yes! The eight-time All-Star

announced Monday night that he has signed to play with the Taoyuan Leopards, a professional team in Taiwan. He was just helping the Lakers win a title in the bubble in 2020! “Damn homie, in high school you was the man homie…”

Germany team total Over 1.5 goals (-125): So it's going to sound a bit weird to say this, but this is a bit of a contrarian play given how bad Hungary and Scotland were in the group stage. Most are sa
