I still can't believe what I am witnessing. Texas blows a 24-8 lead. Tied 24-24 with under 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Out trots kicker, Bert Auburn for Texas. With his long, curly, dirty hair, misses the go ahead field goal out to the right. Allowing ASU to get the ball back.
Only for the refs to miss a clear targeting call on Texas, allowing UT to get the ball back with another chance to win in regulation. QB, Quinn Ewers marches Texas down the field with limited time setting up redemption for Auburn with a 38 yard field.....which he has been 9/9 on field goals under 40 yards.
Bert gets a pep talk from his coach, jogs out to the middle of the field, takes a deep breath.
The kick is up......and it's a DOINK! I love watching college kids miss kicks, makes me feel like a better person. I would've been money from 38 yards....just saying.
