With the Masters on tap next week, many of the game’s top players are skipping this event, but the winner of the Valero Texas Open will get a spot in Augusta if not already qualified. This is a "second tier level" field this week, due to some of the PGA tour top guys resting up for their trip to Augusta on Sunday/Monday. Four of the past five winners have opened at well over 100-1 odds. Tyrrell Hatton, Hideki Matsuyama and Corey Conners are among the headliners, and all are set to play at Augusta next week.
