L.A. Chargers -4.5 (-110)
Given the lookahead line for this game was set at Chargers -3 back in the summer, and we’re only seeing a 1.5-point hike despite the Broncos’ bad start and damaged depth chart. Russel Wilson is playing with a shoulder injury and I am tired of watching him play in primetime. I’m laying the points with a home team that is poised for positive results going forward.
Justin Herbert o260.5 Passing Yards (-115)
If Herbert is constantly asked to pass on Monday night, it stands to reason that he’ll accumulate plenty of passing yards. The Oregon product will have to clear the Denver defense’s season average by a wide margin, but this is an attainable number for him.
Also his flow is immaculate!
Austin Ekeler o57.5 rushing yards (-115)
Considering the Chargers are more than a field-goal favorite, Los Angeles' running game could have a big day. Austin Ekeler is coming off a 16-carry, 173-yard performance last week and has seen at least 13 carries in four of his five games. Joshua Kelley is also handling some totes and might be worth a flier at +300 for a TD, but Ekeler’s Over 57.5 rushing yards is a good number in a game with a matchup that favors him.
