The Dr. Data Parlay of the weekend odds: +125
Erling Haaland anytime goal scorer
both teams scoring
over 2.5 goals scored
When Steph Curry entered the NBA, he completely changed the way the sport of basketball was played. When Tom Brady hoisted his 7th Lombardi at age 43, he certified himself as the best football player ever. When Avicii dropped Levels during the fall of 2011, he revolutionized the music industry. All three of these legends are innovators that changed the game....now insert a Norwegian blonde god by the name of Erling Haaland.
Erling Haaland has been on a war path since the start of the Premier League season. The dude has scored 15 goals in 9 Premier League matches. If you want to add in 5 goals in 3 Champions League games so yeah this guy is an absolute animal. At 6'4" a buck 95 which is a build of a NFL WR, he is taking the football world by storm or as some say...he is HIM. So what is next for Haaland you ask? The answer is a Sunday fixture at Anfield against Liverpool.
These two clubs for the past 4 years have been always Title contenders in recent years, with City leading with the most silverware. However, Liverpool have started flat this season 2-4-2 but look somewhat improved despite recently falling against top of the table Arsenal. A big reason why I love the over in this game Liverpool's defense is sus. The unit has conceded 12 goals, and often times look very unorganized. Look for Haaland to be a bully towards TAA and get behind Van Dijk, which is sure to cause angry Klopp overload and Pep fired up,
Now I've really pumped City's tires here but what about the Liverpool going forward? Did you really think I wasn't going to talk about Salah scoring a hat trick in that champions league this week in 7 Minutes? Did you think I wasn't going to talk about Bobby Firmino and his insanely white teeth...I mean look at these chompers:
Liverpool looks like they've found some sort of groove going forward and scoring goals. In their last 5 games, they've scored at least two goals. Its also worth mentioning that Citys defense during premier league play do concede goals: 3 against (lol)United, 1 vs Villa and 2 vs Palace....3 quality opponents. This is part of the reason why I like both teams scoring. Look for Salah getting an early goal by feeding off the Anfield energy.
