49ers 3 Keys to Victory

Let’s gooo! The Super Bowl is officially two days away. We’re down to the final two teams so any fans of a team that’s at home… be quiet!

The 49ers are the favorites to win the big game on Sunday, yet I haven’t heard a single person that has them winning! Not even Dr. Data. What?

I understand KC’s defense has been playing better, they likely have the better coach and certainly the better quarterback. However, I’m going to lay out the path for the Niner Gang to win the franchise’s sixth Lombardi Trophy.

Key to victory number one:

Coach Kyle Shanahan. He is truly a great coach. He’s proven to get the most from quarterbacks and use players in ways most coaches wouldn’t dare. He has his own coaching tree as you can tie a handful of current coaches directly to him. But with all that said, we have to see four good quarters of football on Sunday.

Get off to a good start! The Niners will not, and I repeat, will not come back on this Chiefs team the way they came back on Tim’s Packers or Dave’s Lions.

This San Fran squad is battle tested and has proven they can come back unlike most of Kyle Shanahan’s teams in the past. Up until this postseason, the 49ers were 0-31 under Shanahan when trailing by at least five points entering the fourth quarter.

Close the show! Kyle has blown a Super Bowl lead as an offensive coordinator and as a head coach. Get off to a good start and give the ball 25 times to the offensive player of the year, Christian McCaffrey.

Key to victory number two:

The 49ers defensive line. Who’s going to help Nick Bosa chase that black man around?? Who’s coming with him!? Look, Chase Young by my analysis had his worst game as a 49er against Detroit. His lack of effort and inability to set the edge in the run game will look ten times worse in the Super Bowl if he doesn’t come correct. Chase, my boy, you are playing for a new contract, whether that’s in San Francisco or elsewhere. But this isn’t all on Young. I need to see plays and pressure from big free agent signing Javon Hargrave, Arik Armstead, Randy Gregory and Javon Kinlaw. Stop the run for once and make the chiefs one dimensional.

Key to victory number three:

Brock Purdy has to play good. He doesn’t even have to be great. No turnovers, don’t miss the open throws and run! I was telling people at my local crunch gym before the NFC championship game that Brock needs to use his legs more. He went on to run for 48 big ones.

So that’s the breakdown. Coach we need a good start and finish. Let’s score every quarter. D Line, we need those big names to have a big game and last but not least, Brock, have a clean game and use those white legs.
