The changing of the guard in NY!
Not to take anything away from Judge, but once I saw Jeets walk into the press conference I know they were officially announcing Judge as the next Yankees captain. #YeahJEETS
I think everyone knew "unofficially" this move was coming when the Yankees announced they were resigning Judge on Dec. 7th. It's a move the Yankees had to do, and was cool to see Willie Randolph and Derek Jeter in attendance for this. "Everything about him screams out leader." - Derek Jeter says Aaron Judge's teammates deserve the most say in the matter, and they all tell him "the exact same thing"
Cool to see how Judge has viewed the off season moves that the Yankees have made so far. Him and Rizzo have become close over the last few seasons and both are well liked and looked to as leaders in the club house. Bringing back Tommy Kanhle who is an absolute psycho both on the mound and in general, and the most recent signing of Carlos Rodon, who Judge described as a "bulldog".

Here are some of the best quotes I heard during the Yankees press conference.
“There’s a lot of unfinished business here. I’m looking forward to finishing that business.”
“I belong in New York.”Aaron Judge
But the best quote of them all, on the morning the Mets and Steve Cohen swooped in and snagged Carlos Correa from the Giants only hours after there was an issue with Correas medical physical for SF, came from Hal Steinbrenner: “We’re not done yet.”.
This may be an unpopular opinion with everything thats gone on over the last season....but the Yankees need to go and get Fernando Tatis Jr. They've had players been popped for PED's in the past, they've had players with huge egos in the past....but Tatis is one of the most electric young players in the game right now. Hal if youre reading this, which I know you are....do the right thing. Send Volpe, Dominguez, and whoever else it takes to get this guy. Deal with the repercussions during the World Series parade.
