Super Bowl Recap. NFL Rigged?

“It was a holding. I tugged his jersey. I was hoping they would let it slide,” Bradberry said.

As a former peewee cornerback/safety (1 career interception) idk if I would've called that play as defensive holding, but like @ArianFoster said.....NFL is scripted. Whether you agreed with the call or not, it sucks to see a great #SuperBowl end like that. And say what you want about Mahomes, injury no injury he's a touch motherfucker. I say this because the group of people I was with were saying he was faking the injury for the story line, and then rushed for 20+ yards late in the 4th quarter. But I want to break down the game.

Patrick Mahomes shook off an ankle injury, turned back into a magician and pulled out another comeback on the biggest stage to help the Kansas City Chiefs win their second Super Bowl in four years - per @ESPN. Mahomes threw two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter and scrambled 26 yards on the go-ahead drive before Harrison Butker kicked a 27-yard field goal with 8 seconds left to give the Chiefs a 38-35 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.

“He’s the MVP,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said about Mahomes. “That’s all that needs to be said. MVP. And you saw it tonight.” For the gambling folks....let's discuss Jet McKinnon taking the dive on the 1 yard line to ensure the clock runs out and fucks everyone's bets for their boxes, final score bets, or for him to score a touchdown (not a winner). Yes I am a scorned gambler...but what James Bradyberry did was not defensive holding, it was inside 5 yards, and it was not a catchable ball, and for Patrick Mahomes to point to the endzone looking for the flag is why the NFL is becoming the NBA. I hate to say it, for what used to be one of the most exciting games of the year for it to end like this is bullshit.

We wanted to get this so bad for him," Travis Kelce said. "His legacy in Philly lives on forever. I know that city loves him. I know that the organization loves him. But ever since he’s been here in Kansas City — I’ve seen it firsthand — he poured his heart and his mind and his soul into this organization, into this team and led a group of men. ... There’s a lot of pride in knowing that he’s had success in two different organizations, but this was the better one.”

I was texting the CMS chat throughout this game as it seemed to be Eagles to win handily, and I throughout the narrative that people spoke to soon comparing Mahomes to Brady. People like to forget that Brady has 7 rings, Mahomes now has 2. Which is impressive for his age and time in the league, but also need to be mindful of how the second half of his career plays out. Mahomes is now 2-1 in the Super Bowl, which is impressive.

At the end of the day the Chiefs scored every time they had the ball in the second half and the top ranked Eagles defense couldn't even get a sack on Mahomes with a "bad ankle". Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton played all 74 snaps for the Chiefs defense and was seemingly always around the football. He recorded seven solo tackles and two tackle assists. He also didn't give up a single first down in coverage and returned Hurts' fumble 36 yards for a touchdown.

So let's have a round of applause for the refs who made a great game about themselves on a BS call for limited contact on a ball that had no shot of getting caught. Maybe Mahomes is turning into Brady with the way he knows how to get calls in today's NFL. #SickLeague

Shout out to the guy at my Super Bowl party he didn't get up from the couch once until the game ended, only to reveal 17 empty beer cans behind his legs. Also that Blue Moon commercial was great #beers.
