Last game of the regular season and you know what that means...a week long story line about how much additional $$$ players can make based on catches, yards, touchdowns, kisses...you know all the standard stats in the NFL.
Odell Beckham Jr. would love to put on a show in Week 18 against the Steelers and possibly earn $1.25 million thanks to contract incentives, but his words not mine were "don't bet on mine". But I am here to give you reasons besides him saying it of why not to bet on him.
The Ravens’ star wide receiver stood to earn $750,000 if he tallied 185 receiving yards in Week 18, as well as an additional $250,000 for 5 catches or 2 touchdowns. I am telling you this because Odell did the right thing tipping off us gamblers not to make the bets on his props because he would not be playing this weekend.
Had Odell still played this Sunday his season stats give no reason to believe he would hit any of those props, outside of maybe receptions. He has only had two games this season with 5 catches, only 3 TD's on the season (never had two in a game), and the most receiving yards he had in a game were 116. So if you ever thought about betting on Odell to hit any of these with Tyler Huntley as the starting QB this weekend, you should be thankful OBJ aint suiting up this weekend.
He's also too busy planning the Ravens boat party to get ready for the playoffs.
