The #NHL really decided to take it down to the wire to unveil the 2024 #StadiumSeries jerseys for New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, and New Jersey Devils. The jerseys were not worth the wait in my opinion.
All time terrible marketing by the NHL to not release these jerseys before Christmas and boost their sales, as well as ensure everyone has it before the game lol.
Flyers/Devils will play Saturday February 17th, and personally I think that game got the better jerseys out of the two games. I don't know if the teams had any influence on these sweaters, or Adidas just said here you go deal with it.
I think the Devils came out on top with their jerseys. The dark red and the black logo gives some darkness and embodies their mascot, also 10X better than their jerseys that just say "Jersey" across the chest. I'm sure the Jonas brothers will be rocking these as they cos play as hockey fans during the Saturday night game.

Philadelphia's sweater includes an extended version their traditional logo that stretches all the way around to create sleeve stripes out of the classic Flyers' feature. The whole look comes together in the Flyers' very own Burnt Orange.

The Islanders sweater is dark blue with an orange stripe across the middle, with the "ISLES" replacing the logo. The Islanders also lost to the Rangers at their only previous outdoor game in 2014 at Yankee Stadium. Coldest game ever.
The "ISLES" jersey seem to have gotten the most heat on twitter this morning.
As an Islander fan, the first look I hated these, but I loved the color scheme. These have been growing on me all day, a nice mix between something old school and traditional, but somehow a little modern with the nickname across the chest. I think it is missing something and that may be that I am not use to seeing them have the lettering across the chest. I have been waiting to see these revealed to add to my current #Isles jersey collection. Idk if this is worth $280, but prob will pull the trigger and get a Sorokin jersey. Hopefully we get see Mat Barzal scooping some ice at Metlife after a goal in these sweaters.

The Rangers uniform includes the classic "NYR" wordmark diagonally across the front in red letters with a blue back, along with blue and red stripes. Their lettering is crooked and dumb. Rangers are lame, and Ranger fans are also fans of Lizzo. The Rangers are 5-0-0 in outdoor games and last played in the 2018 Winter Classic at Citi Field against the Sabres.
