NCAA Football Is Coming Back In 2024

LETS FUCKING GO! One of the best sports videos games to ever be released is finally coming back and I am pumped. "Daryl Holt, EA Sports' vice president and general manager, told ESPN in an interview the brand is going to launch EA Sports College Football at that time because of the enormous undertaking of creating the game from scratch."- Per ESPN.

Once NCAA athletes were allowed to make money through NIL deals it was only a matter of time until the come back of this game. Side note, no one got burned by NIL deals more than Reggie Bush...but love his Wendy's commercials.

There was nothing better than starting a season with your favorite college team and finishing the season with 3 or 4 Heisman finalists and winning the CFB Championship...and if you were a real nerd like myself and instead of playing real sports (I was a former D1 Athlete nbd), you would upload your college players to Madden and draft them with your favorite pro team.

EA Sports has cornered the sports video game market for years now, so I didn't expect them to rush out a new game once NIL deals were announced. There hasn't been a game since 2014 when Denard Robinson was the cover athlete. There was even a few year when each game system had a different cover athlete.

Players like Joe Burrow, Johnny "Football" Manziel, Baker Mayfield, Devonta Smith, Bryce Young, and countless other Heisman winners/electric college athletes missed out on being potential cover athletes. Still shocking Manziel wasn't a cover athlete because the game was still being made when he was playing at Texas A&M.

A lot of people are upset they haven't already dropped a new edition of NCAA Football, but we've waited this long, we can wait another two years. Patience is a virtue.
