Luis Robert and Pete Alonso lead the way as eight competitors will meet for Monday's 2023 MLB Home Run Derby in Seattle. Robert of the White Sox and two-time champion Alonso of the Mets are neck-and-neck as the league's top home-run hitters entered in the 2023 Home Run Derby bracket. They come into Monday's MLB Home Run Derby 2023 at T-Mobile Park with 26 this season, tied for third in MLB. Julio Rodriguez will be the hometown favorite after the young Mariners star finished as runner-up to Juan Soto last year in Los Angeles. Alonso will try for the second time to join Ken Griffey Jr. as the only players with three Home Run Derby titles. Soto opted not to defend his crown, but Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is back for the first time since finishing as 2019 runner-up.
