The #NBA All Time Leading Scorer, Lebron James is officially off steroids and I am glad he can finally be a role model to the young basketball players of the world with aspirations
to make the NBA.
After averaging 4.7 missed games per season in the first 15 years of career, he is averaging 20 missed games per season since joining the Lakers in 2018. Some could say he got too big for his britches since joining the "Show Time Lakers", and doesn't care about basketball as much anymore. That isn't true because he had to make sure to do an interview on becoming the scoring leader, and have like 18 games around the league be stopped to acknowledge that he's just "A Kid From Akron".
You could also say Lebron is using load management to his advance to sneak by a few more years and play with his son, Bronny, at a high level. Or it's because the Lakers have significantly underperformed since he joined the team, and he runs from the fact that he tried to play GM and failed. Here are how Lakers finished their seasons since James came to LA:
2018/2019 - Missed Playoffs
2019/2020 - Won Mickey Mouse Championship***** Doesn't count
2020/2021 - Lost Western Conference First Round
2021/2022 - Missed Playoffs
2022/2023 - Will Miss Playoffs
So I am going to crunch the numbers real quick....
Lebron is off the steroids and his body can no longer handle being the #1 option for a team, or play more than 70 games in a season. His last year in Cleveland he played all 82 games....hmmmm. If he's doing this with one of the most historic NBA franchises, I can only imagine how much he will play when he heads to Orlando for the 2024/25 season to play with his son. I just hope he doesn't pressure to use performance enhancing drugs to better his game, like he pressured his kids to drink wine underage.
CMS once again bashing LBJ....for Clout!
