If you like money, then bet the UNC vs Duke over this weekend

You know what gets my tail wagging........besides hearing Levels drop at The Point out in Montauk while I'm several beers deep??? Betting the over in College football and especially betting the over when it involves this UNC team.

UNC travels to Durham to take on their arch rivals in whats sure to be an offensive shootout. When you talk offense, you gotta talk about UNC stud QB Drake Maye. This dude can flat out sling it, which is highlighted by his 21 TD passes and only 3 INT's while approaching the 2000 yard mark in 6 games.....that sounds nice and ohh did I mention he's a Freshman and in some eyes in the mix for the Heisman. That's pretty pretty pretty good (insert Larry David voice). Besides throwing, he's second in the team in rushing yards so yeah the kid is good.

So Dr Data, why the over can Drake Maye score over 66.5 points all by himself??? I really want to say yes but having a rocket arm like Josh Allen and wheels like prime Gareth bale is not enough to cover that number but that would be sick. Here is why this over will hit:

This UNC Offense can truly score at will, and score in so many different ways. I've said my piece about the QB, but this squad has so many weapons. There are six different receivers well over 10 receptions this seasons, and they are all in the double digits in yards per reception. This receiving core is lead by Josh Downs who has 28 receptions for 299 YDs with 5TD. Not only do they beat you from the air, they also have a healthy ground game spearheaded by Omarion Hampton who averages 4.6 a carry, has 330 Yards rushing this season and 6TD. Also Maye has 308 yards rushing this season, which tells me this Offense just continues to march down the field if the play breaks down. Not only can they score tuddys, this team has kicker in Noah Burnette and no he doesn't skip leg day. He is 6 for 7 in field goals with 3 of them greater than 40 yards so once this Offense gets across midfield, points will be added to the score board.

So how does this compare against the Duke's defense? I think UNC will be able to do anything they want. Duke's defense allows 240 Yards passing per game. When Duke played Kansas, they allowed Jalon Daniels to throw for 324 Yards and 4TD and allowed him to run for 83 YDs and another TD. Clearly keeping the QB in the pocket is going to be a problem so I foresee another one of those games for Duke

The Final point I'll make is the UNC defense....

They are bad bad. I mean this is a team that gave up 24 points to FAMU. The only hope they have is facing an offense just as bad as their defense (Shout out Va Tech). After watching them a few times, this team struggles to tackle one vs one which is a problem. The defense is last in the ACC in passing yards per game, 2nd to last in the ACC in rushing yards per game and last in total points surrendered per game in 32. And you know what, Duke's offense is very solid. They are at the top of the league when it comes to running the ball with 190 YDS per game but isnt this bad for the over??? Yes but given the history of UNC defense not tackling well, this will open the field up to big plays. Duke will need to score points to win this game so they will take chances downfield so expect big scoring plays.

But These Helmets

I mean these things are hotter than Kate Upton doing the Cat Daddy, bonk. This is sure to get the fellas fired up!!! The over is 66.5, lets ride
