I Am Officially Sick Of Hearing From Damian Lillard

The entire #NBA offseason it has been all about Damian Lillard, where is he going, and how he won't play for anyone but the Miami Heat. However, he recently came out and said he would rather "lose every year" than join Warriors.

All offseason he's been vocal, basically demanding to be traded, and he will only play for the Miami Heat. But his comments are finally catching up to him. Statements like, "I can't go be part of that," and "I'd lose every year before I go," reflect a lot of serious thought and consideration. But wants to go to a team that just made the Finals. Yes, the heat were an 8 seed, but they got DAWGS on that team, and playoff Jimmy is a different animal.

They've got young stars like Bam Adebayo, and after losing to the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals, appear to be at the start of their journey as a team. The Warriors, on the other hand, have aging stars in Steph Curry (35), Klay Thompson (33) and Draymond Green (33), and their run of four titles in nine seasons appears to be reaching its natural end. Lillard did add his comments on when Kevin Durant joined the Warriors, which is EXACTLY what he is trying to do by demanding to be traded to Miami.

“I’ve said this plenty of times before: I think KD — obviously he’s one of the greatest players of all time — but if I was in his shoes, I wouldn’t have done that personally,” Lillard responded. “I just feel like, that’s the team they lost to. … That ain’t something that I would’ve did. Everybody’s situation — you gotta do what you gotta do.” Only difference is Dame Dolla is looking to go to a difference conference and not to the team that eliminated him from the playoffs the year before.

While the Portland Trail Blazers guard hopes to be dealt to the Miami Heat, that hasn’t stopped other teams from wanting to trade for him. The Raptors have been interested from the jump, the Chicago Bulls have been talked about being in the mix. Now that it's football season, I don't want to hear about Damian Lillard until the NBA season starts, unless hes traded.
