Ben Verlander Stinks

As I write this I would like to preface, Ben Verlander has a better baseball career than me. With that being said, his MLB takes stinks. Anyone can go to his twitter, as well as his replies and quickly see how everyone is quick to get on him for being the #1 Shohei Ohtani homer. I personally think Shohei has been an absolute freak in the MLB.

Now we get to why Ben Verlander stinks. Ben picked every favorite from the Wild card round of the MLB 2022 playoffs, with the exception of the Tampa Bay Rays. Now it would be easy to say I am a salty Yankee fan for writing this, but well get to that. Do I personally care that Ben Verlander thinks Shohei should be the MVP this season over Judge, and probably the the MVP for the next 10 seasons, honestly no. But Ben does something admirable, he plays the heel, but a little too much. Ben's 2021 Playoffs picks, Yankees to beat Boston(didn't happen), White Sox to beat Houston,(didn't happen), St. Louis to beat LA (didn't happen), Brewers to beat Atlanta (didn't happen). That was just the first round. I'll stop there because his World Series Match-up was eliminated in the first round.

Yesterday Ben was quick to say how Seattle was built for the playoffs when they had his brother Justin, exit early in the first game of the ALDS in Houston. But as quick as Ben was to praise Seattle, luckily for Houston, Robbie Ray came in with 2 on 2 out, only to give up a walk off home run to Yordan Alvarez. As soon as Houston walked it off, Ben was right back on the winning side.

In my closing arguments, your honor. Ben stinks, he rides with the hot hand and whoever will give him attention. Honestly, dont knock it, it's a great stance to take but his takes stinks.
